Orbis at 2030 IN SIGHT LIVE Mexico!

We’re excited to share that Orbis is attending this year’s IN SIGHT LIVE to help mobilize the eye care community to ensure eye care is available to all by 2030.

The event, hosted by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, will connect leaders, delegates and changemakers from across the global eye health sector, in Mexico City, Mexico, June 25-27.

Building on the valued discussions at last year’s successful event in Singapore (see main picture above), sessions will be a mix of keynote addresses, engaging workshops, masterclasses, and roundtables designed to provide opportunities for participation, networking, and sharing experiences.

Expert Orbis representatives from across the world will take a deep dive into critical eye care topics from gender equality and innovative technology to childhood blindness and diabetic retinopathy.

Delegates will also hear from a number of "Rapid Fire" speakers that include Dr. Ha Nguyen and Ángel Allauca García. Dedicated pharmacist Dr. Nguyen is the Program Officer in charge of Cybersight at Orbis Vietnam, where she brings our free online resources and tools to eye care professionals in her home country. Ángel is a dedicated and talented Project Manager from Peru who designs and implements eye health projects across his home country.
