WorldFlight USA 2008 Fundraising Page

My ORBIS fundraising target is:  $10,000

My activity

Image of cockpitWorldFlight USA is a "virtual" round-the-world flight to raise money for ORBIS International. Beginning Sunday, November 2, and continuing through November 10, the WorldFlight team of eight will fly a Boeing 737-700 simulator around the world.

Departing from Sydney, Australia, the team will "fly" to 45 cities, including San Francisco, Panama City, Capetown, Dublin, Tbilisi and Hanoi. All flights will be flown online on the Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network (VATSIM) using real-world procedures, live air traffic control and real-time weather.

World Flight is a global endeavor. We will be joining teams from around the world, including Australia, the United Kingdom and Austria. Our goal is to make a difference to those less fortunate than us and to enable them to someday see the sights we'll encounter on our voyage.

Why I support ORBIS

With your support, we'll help others see and appreciate what we take for granted.

My page closes: Sunday, November 30, 2008
