My activity

Hello family and friends, thanks for logging on. I decided years ago that if I was ever to compete in another Ironman race, that I was going to raise money for our favorite charity, "ORBIS." On Sunday, June 24, I will be participating in the Ironman triathlon in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and I am seeking your support. A sample week of my training program includes 3 hours swimming, 8+ hours biking, and 5+ hours running. No, my family won't see much of me for a couple of months, but they are my favorite cheerleaders.

Why I support ORBIS

Our son Nathan, 8, is visually impaired with a rare genetic eye deficiency called achromatopsia. This has made our family more aware and sympathetic to those who are visually handicapped. We have contributed to ORBIS over the years and have learned that it is a very worthy organization. I cannot think of a better gift to give someone than the gift of sight!
